Municipalities all around Europe are working to develop ambitious Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP). There, actions to make their communities more energy efficient, adapted to climate change and inclusive are laid out.
Join the first webinar of this series hosted by the Covenant of Mayors Europe, designed to help signatories identify and exploit different sources of financing to deliver actions from their cities' SECAP, in particular looking at the role that the private sector can play.
The webinar takes place in collaboration with the Smart Cities Marketplace and European City Facility, and the session will present how cities can take the initial steps on delivering specific climate, energy and adaptation actions by leveraging public-private partnerships.
Participants will also have the chance to learn from the experience from a fellow city on how its planning helped it implement concrete action as a beneficiary of the European City Facility and the pivotal role of a wide stakeholder inclusion.
